Overview
Tracking links are essential for your Partner program - they show you exactly who's driving sales and how well their promotions work.
While you can also track performance through Coupon Codes and QR Codes (which we'll partially mention here too), tracking links are your main tool for measuring success.
This guide shows you the ways to create, manage, and share these links with your Partners (at least some of the most popular routes).

Advanced Parameters
You can filter and analyze these parameters in your reporting to understand traffic patterns and optimize your Offers/Campaigns as well (e.g. in the Offer report).
Whether you're tracking social media promotions, email campaigns, or content partnerships, having these parameters properly set up from the start ensures you'll have granular data for making informed decisions.

Facebook Ads Example
Scenario: Running Meta ad campaigns and want to track as many details as possible.
Parameters:
- source_id = facebook (identifies traffic from Facebook)
- sub1 = {campaign_id}
- sub3 = {ad_name}
- sub4 = {ad_id}
- sub5 = {ad_set_name}
Remember how we mentioned Traffic Sources earlier?
This is exactly why they're handy - you can create a Facebook template with all these parameters pre-filled. That way, when you're setting up new Meta campaigns, your tracking is consistent and you won't forget any parameters.
