Domain Registration Process

Follow these steps to properly register Tracking and Conversion Domains for your Everflow account.

Overview

All domains purchased by Everflow on behalf of customers must be registered properly to avoid downtime.

View your current Tracking and Conversion Domains by navigating to Control Center > Platform Configurations > Domains

Heads Up!

Ensure the provided email is always valid. If an employee leaves, this could compromise domain control and lead to downtime.

Domain Registration Information was provided during account setup. Please contact support for any updates.

The information provided will not be shared but is required by Squarespace to manage and purchase domains.

Domain Management

Steps for domain verification and transfer.

Domain Verification

Check the Domain Registration Email address provided for an email from Squarespace (no-reply@squarespace.com) with the subject: [Action Required] Verify your Squarespace domain contact

Click the Verify Now link to complete the process.

Domain Registration Transfer (Address change)

To update any information related to your domain registration, please contact Customer Support.

Keeping a domain registered with an invalid email address can lead to downtime and prevent transfers. It's best practice to transfer the domain before disabling an email address, as you'll need access to both the current and new email to complete the transfer.

Steps to Transfer a Domain Registration

Contact support to provide new information.

If updating the company address, you'll receive a registration change notification in the domain registration email inbox. If updating the email address, you'll need to accept the transfer within both addresses.

Accept the Transfer in both inboxes:

Check for an email from Squarespace (no-reply@squarespace.com) with the subject: "Confirm changes to your Squarespace Domain"

Click on Review Changes

Clicking on Account Dashboard will redirect to the Squarespace login, which you don't have access to.

When a transfer is completed, you'll receive a confirmation email from no-reply@squarespace.com with the subject: "Your domain contact information was updated"

Which domains does this registration concern?

All Tracking and Conversion Domains purchased for you by Everflow.

Why is this required?

This information is required by ICANN and must be accurate to avoid suspension or cancellation.

How long do I have to accept the verification?

Once you receive the email to accept the registration changes, you have 7 days to complete the process.

Will this cause any downtime on my domains?

No.

Do I have to manage the DNS or any technical aspect of the domain?

No.

Will this change the billing process for domains?

No. Everflow will continue to manage renewals and SSLs.

Is the Domain Registration Information secure?
