AppsFlyer (Legacy) Integration

This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process for setting up your mobile tracking with AppsFlyer as an Advertiser account.

Overview

This article is intended for Everflow clients that want to set up an integration from an Advertiser account to Everflow.

AppsFlyer is a Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP). Apps use an MMP for their internal attribution data around installs and in-app events, which can then be passed to Everflow through Postbacks.

We do, however, recommend using our Direct AppsFlyer Integration.

Step-By-Step Guide

1 Locate Everflow in AppsFlyer Login to AppsFlyer and from the side menu, select Collaboration > Partner Marketplace. Search for "Everflow" and click on the integration. Note If you have previously set up Everflow, you can access it directly via Collaboration > Active Integrations. 2 Activate Partner and Enter Credentials Click Set up integration to open the configuration page. In the Integration tab, turn on the Activate partner toggle. Enter your Everflow Domain Placeholder and Aid (Advertiser ID).

Finding Your Credentials Everflow Domain Placeholder: Navigate to Control Center > Platform Configurations > Domains. Any of your active Conversion Domains will work here.

Aid (Advertiser ID): Navigate to Offers > Manage, then click on the Offer. The Advertiser ID is the number in parentheses next to the Advertiser's name.

3 Configure Post-Install Events (Optional)

If you want to track post-install events, you must first configure Advertiser Level Events in Everflow.

In Everflow, set up your events at the Advertiser or Offer level. Once configured, the Revenue & Payout card should display your events.

In AppsFlyer, scroll down to In-app events postback and turn it on. Enter the same Aid and Everflow Domain Placeholder from Step 2. Click Add event and map your SDK events to their corresponding Advertiser Event IDs from Everflow.
4 Generate the Attribution Link In AppsFlyer, navigate to the Attribution link tab. Select either Use a single-platform link or Use OneLink depending on your setup. Click Save attribution link, then copy your Click attribution link.

5 Add Attribution Link to Everflow In Everflow, navigate to your Offer. Paste the AppsFlyer attribution link into the Default Landing Page field. Click Save.

6 Test the Integration

To verify everything is working correctly:

In Everflow, navigate to the Tracking Links tab and generate a test link. Use a device that has never downloaded the app before to click the link, install, and open the app. Navigate to Reporting > Conversions and verify your install appears in the report. Tip Installs typically appear within 2-5 minutes. If you don't see your install, double-check that your device hasn't previously had the app installed, and verify the postback configuration in AppsFlyer.
