Tracking & Conversion Domain Management

This comprehensive guide explains how to set up, manage, and report on tracking and conversion domains in Everflow, including assigning domains to Offers and Partners, and utilizing reporting tools to analyze domain performance.

Overview

Domain management is a crucial aspect of affiliate tracking and attribution.

This article will guide you through understanding, setting up, and managing both Tracking and Conversion domains in Everflow.

Introduction to Domains in Everflow

Everflow uses two types of domains:

  1. Tracking Domains: Used in Partner tracking links to track Clicks coming through to your Offers.
  2. Conversion Domains: Used in Conversion postbacks/pixels by Advertisers to fire Conversions into Everflow.

Domain Setup & Management

Request Domain Setup

Contact the Customer Success team to request domain setup. If you own and manage your domain with SSL, it can be added as a tracking domain for free. If you want Everflow to purchase and manage a random domain for tracking links, there's a $40 per domain per month cost.

View and Manage Domains

Go to Control Center -> Platform Configurations in your Everflow dashboard. Click on the Domains tab. Here you can see all tracking and conversion domains, their status, and whether they're set as primary. To change domain registration information, contact Customer Success.

Assigning Domains To Offers And Partners

Go to Offers -> Manage and select an Offer. Click Edit and go to Tracking and Controls Specify which tracking domain to associate with this Offer. Selecting a specific tracking domain doesn't block traffic from links with other active domains. Go to Partners -> Manage and select a Partner. Go to the Tracking Domains section. Set a global tracking domain for all Offers or specific domains for particular Offers.
