Setting Up Impression Tracking

This article will show you how to see impression data in Everflow and send the data to your Advertiser.

Overview

Impression Tracking allows you to measure when ads are viewed by users, even without clicks. This provides valuable visibility into campaign performance beyond click-based metrics.

Note Impression Tracking must be enabled in your account—contact the Customer Success Team to activate it.
What is Impression Tracking?

Impression tracking records when an ad is viewed by a user, allowing you to analyze impression data in Everflow. Unlike click tracking, impression tracking works automatically when an ad (creative) loads, without requiring any user interaction.

To track impressions from a traffic source, they must send impression traffic through an Everflow impression tracking link or pixel.

Enabling Impression Tracking

What is Impression Tracking?

Impression tracking records when an ad is viewed, allowing you to analyze impression data in Everflow.

To track impressions from a traffic source, you must send impression traffic through an Everflow impression tracking link or pixel.

How to Generate an Impression Tracking Link

Navigate to Offers -> Manage. Click on the Offer you want to track. Click Offer Tracking Links. Select the Impression tab. Build the tracking link by selecting: Offer Creative (optional) URL (if applicable) Partner Use this Impression Tracking Link to capture impression data from traffic sources.
  • Once implemented, impressions will populate in reporting under the "Imp" column.

Reporting and Analytics

After implementing impression tracking, you can:

  • View impression data in the standard reports under the "Imp" column
  • Calculate key metrics like CTR (Click-Through Rate)
  • Analyze impression-to-conversion ratios
  • Provide advertisers with comprehensive visibility into their campaign performance

Remember, the main advantage of impression tracking is that it works automatically when an ad loads—no click is necessary for the impression to be counted.
