Overview
As a reminder, Everflow can track three primary Actions per Offer:
- Impressions (optional add-on package, turned off by default)
- Clicks
- Conversion Events
This article will dive into the two types of Conversion Events that each Offer can track.
What is a Conversion Event?
A Conversion Event is usually a sale, app install or form submit, but could be any Event you or the Advertisers you’re working with want to label as a “conversion”. With Everflow, you’re able to track almost anything in a flexible manner.
Each Offer has its own Conversion Events.
Conversion Event Types

Base Conversion Event
Each Offer has one default Conversion Event called the Base Conversion Event.
The Base Conversion Event is what the Offer’s Base Revenue & Payout types are usually based off of.
Additional Conversion Event
Customers also have the possibility of tracking additional conversions apart from the Base Conversion Event.
Some properties of Additional Conversion Events are:
- Each Additional Conversion Event has its own Payout & Revenue associated with it
- You can have multiple Additional Conversion Events
- You don’t have to add Additional Conversion Events
- Additional Conversion Events could be triggered before or after the Base Conversion Event, meaning the Base Conversion Event doesn’t have to be the first conversion in the funnel
Properties Of Conversion Events
General Properties
Some properties to be aware of:
- If the Offer is solely based on Clicks and/or Impressions, you are not obliged to use Conversion Events, but the Base Conversion Event will still exist (unconfigured)
- You can set up all Conversion Events to be any kind of conversion you’d like to track, there is no difference between the Base Conversion & Additional Conversion in terms of raw functionality
Ordering Conversion Events
As mentioned before Conversion Events can be ordered in any way.
For example the Base Conversion Event could be the “second” conversion in your chronological funnel. In this case, you might make App Install an Additional Conversion Event that you’re tracking but have set to Private Event Visibility in order to hide it from Partners.
And you chose the user paying for the subscription as the most important Conversion Event, setting it as the Base Conversion Event.
