How to manage and customize notification settings for Network Employees, Partner and Advertiser Users.

Updated - Feature Release 3.5.0 (February 2024):

  • Configuration was divided into distinct sections - Platform Configurations, Partner Configurations, and Advertiser Configurations - for easier navigation.

  • Added Partner User Email Changed notifications to be alerted when the Partner user email is updated in the system by the Partner.

  • Added Coupon Code Deactivated to notify affiliates when a coupon code became inactive.

Overview

This guide is for Network Employees who want to configure notification settings (in-app and email).


Default Notification Settings

If you are an Administrator on your Network's account, you may configure which notifications are sent to *new* Users by default. To bulk-update the notification settings for existing users, please contact support@eveflow.io or reach out via the chat system.

Please note, however, that once the User is created, they will be able to log in and customize their own notification settings according to the instructions in the next section. This change will be contained to the account the change is being made.

  • Navigate to Control Center - (Platform, Partner, Advertiser) Configurations, then click the Default Notifications tab.

  • Here, you may configure settings for Network Employees, Partner Users and Advertiser Users.

  • Click the > to expand each set of notification types.

  • Bulk Editing Notification settings per section is possible by clicking the Edit button:

Network Employees

Network Users can be assigned as a Partner/Advertiser Manager or an Account Executive to a Partner or Advertiser. This can be managed under Control Center - Accounts - [CLICK HERE].

Some notification types for Network Employees have the option to specify whether the User receives notifications associated with

  • any/all Partners/Advertisers (Notify me for all events), or

  • only assigned Partners/Advertisers (Notify me for my managed accounts only).

Selecting Notify me for my managed accounts only means that Users who are NOT assigned as the relevant Partner Manager/Account Executive/Account Manager will not receive that notification.

The notification types that do not have this option are not associated with specific Advertiser or Partner accounts, such as changes to Offer status or when an offer-level cap is reached.

There are multiple Notification options available. For example, you can enable Partner User Email Changed notification. It will allow you to be notified when the Partner user email is updated in the system by the Partner.

Please Note: Partner Managers with "limited access" will not have this option. By default, they will only receive notifications related to their Managed Accounts. For more details on limiting access for Partner Managers - [Click Here]

Partner Default Notifications

Partner Users have many notifications available (Navigate to Control Center - Partner Configurations).

Offers

These notifications are only sent to the Partner if, at the time of the notification, they are approved on the Offer AND they have sent traffic to the Offer in the past 7 days.

Actions

Related to Scheduled Actions. For more details on Scheduled Actions - [Click Here]

Billing

Please note that "Invoice Available" will not be sent to the Partner if Invoices are hidden by the Network.

Network

Whether or not you want your Partners to receive Direct Messages sent by your Network.

Please note: The notifications regarding caps may be regarding either custom caps OR offer-level caps, except in the case that notifications regarding offer-level caps are disabled at the Network level.

Enabling/disabling offer-level cap notifications can be done by:

  • Navigating to Control Center - Platform Configurations > General tab - Global Settings card.

**Contact Customer Success if you would like a notification sent to Partner Users every time a conversion (sale) happens.

Advertiser Users

Advertiser Users can only receive notifications associated with the Direct Message tool.


Customizing the Notifications You Receive

  • Navigate to Control Center - My Account, then click the Notifications tab.

  • Notification types for Network Employees that are related to specific Partner/Advertiser accounts have the option to specify whether you receive notifications associated with

    • any/all Partners/Advertisers (Notify me for all events), or

    • only assigned Partners/Advertisers (Notify me for my managed accounts only).

  • Selecting Notify me for my managed accounts only means that you will not receive a notification unless you are the relevant Partner's assigned Partner Manager or Account Executive, or the relevant Advertiser's assigned Account Manager.

    For example, on the notification for "Partner Reached Custom Daily Cap," selecting:

    • Notify me for all events means that you would be notified when a custom daily cap is reached by any/all Partners for any/all Offers.

    • Notify me for my managed accounts only means that you would be notified only when a Partner to whom you are the assigned Partner Manager or Account Executive reaches a custom daily cap.

    This option is available for all notification types in the following sections:

    • Advertisers

    • Partners

    • Billing

  • And is available for some notification types in the following sections:

    • Actions

    • Offers

  • The notification types that do not have this option are not associated with specific Advertiser or Partner accounts, such as changes to offer status when an offer-level cap is reached, a Marketplace application is created, or a Direct Message is sent to you.
