Overview

Funnel Report in Everflow is a powerful tool designed to help you gain deep insights into your marketing funnel and customer journey and keep you data clean in the process.

This report provides a detailed breakdown of user behavior, showing how users who triggered one Event (Offer or Advertiser level) went on to trigger other Events in your funnel.

With Funnel Report, you can:

  • Visualize the relationships between selected Events

  • Track user progression through different stages of the funnel

  • Measure average time intervals between funnel stages

  • Assess associated costs and other key metrics for each funnel stage

For example, you can track various customer journeys, such as how many prospects attended your webinar, viewed your demo page, and ultimately became leads. Or you can see how many customers engaged with your social media post, subscribed to your newsletter, and subsequently purchased a product.

💡Note💡

The Funnel Report shows which actions were taken by users who performed the source event. It doesn't indicate the order of these actions.

Though you can check the time delta column, showing you the average time it took between events.

Moreover, by associating costs and other crucial metrics with each Event, Funnel Report helps you put concrete numbers to your marketing efforts.

Step-By-Step Guide

Step 1: Accessing Funnel Report

  1. Log in to your Everflow account.

  2. Navigate to Analytics.

  3. Click on Funnel under the Analytics section.

Step 2: Configuring the Funnel

  1. Choose a Funnel Type:

    • Offer Level Events: Analyze Events related to a specific Offer.

    • Advertiser Level Events: Analyze Events across multiple Offers for a specific Advertiser.

  2. Select a Target:

    • For Offer Level Events: Choose the Offer for Event Funnel creation.

    • For Advertiser Level Events: Select the Advertiser for Event Funnel creation.

  3. (Optional) Select a Child Entity:

    • Narrow down the Funnel to a specific Partner or other Child Entity (e.g., Country, City, Creative, Language).

  4. Select Time Interval: When using the Funnel report, please be aware that it can only display data for a maximum of 31 days at a time. Ensure you choose a time range within this limit for accurate results.

Step 3: Adding and Excluding Events

  1. Click Add Event to view available Events.

  2. Select Events to include in your Funnel. Unselected Events will be excluded.

Step 4: Setting Up Event Funnels

  • Define the sequence:

    • Drag and drop Events to arrange them in the logical order of the user journey (e.g., Lead Submit - Lead Qualified - Sign Up - Upsell).

  • First selected event will be the Source Event, which *Progression Rate and *Delta Calculation will be based on.

💡Note💡

This report examines the correlation between the selected events.

The first event in the list serves as the primary or "source" event. So the count of the other selected events will only be from the users that triggered the source event.

  • Use Filters to drill down your funnel:

    • Filters can include: Country, Account Manager, Creative, and many others.

  • Run the report:

    • Click Run Report after arranging Events and configuring settings.

    • Save your Event Funnel using the hamburger menu: click Save under Saved & Scheduled Reports.

    • Use the hamburger menu to Copy Link to Report or Load Report.

Step 5: Analyzing the Funnel

  1. View the Funnel Report:

    • Examine the Performance Graph for a visual representation of the user journey.

    • Analyze metrics such as conversion rates, drop-off rates, and overall performance at each Funnel stage.

  2. Adjust the Funnel as needed:

    • Refine your analysis by modifying Events, adding or excluding Events, or rearranging the sequence.
