Configure Your Payment Settings On The Marketplace Platform

For Marketplace Administrators: A guide to becoming a Payee via Everflow Pay on the Marketplace Platform. Receive faster payments via Advertisers across the Marketplace.

What Payment Settings Does

On the Marketplace you can be connected to many Advertisers at once. Without Payment Settings, each of those connections would mean logging into a separate Partner Platform and typing your bank details in again. Payment Settings replaces all of that with one Everflow Pay configuration that every Advertiser you are connected to can pay against.

What's Changed Last updated Aug 19, 2026
Aug 19, 2026 Updated
Rewritten for the Everflow Pay International Payer release. The configuration is now documented screen by screen, including the banking fields for Canada and non-US accounts, and the middle stage is described by what it actually collects.
Apr 16, 2026 Removed
Removed 5 penny test references. Penny test verification is no longer required on the Marketplace platform.

You set it up once. After that, any invoice you raise against a Marketplace Advertiser who pays through Everflow Pay can be paid without you touching your banking details again.

What It Does Not Cover

Payment Settings only controls Everflow Pay. If an Advertiser pays you through Tipalti, PayPal or anything else, those details still live inside that Advertiser's Partner Platform and you configure them there, one Advertiser at a time. That is slow and easy to get wrong, which is the honest reason we suggest asking your Advertisers to move to Everflow Pay.

You need the Administrator role Payment Settings is only visible to users with the Administrator role. If you cannot see it in your sidebar, ask an Administrator at your company to upgrade you, or write to marketplace@everflow.io.

Where to Find It

Open the Marketplace Platform and look at the bottom of the left sidebar, under COMPANY.

Marketplace Platform → Company → Payment Settings

The page opens on your Everflow Pay Configuration card, which is a progress tracker rather than a form. It lists the stages you need to clear, and each one has its own button.

Two Ways In

What happens when you click Start depends on whether you have set up Everflow Pay with an Advertiser before.

1 You already have Everflow Pay details with one or more Advertisers Everflow finds every configuration you have and asks you to pick one to become your single primary payee account across all Advertisers. You also choose one email address for that account, which overrides the addresses on the others. Pick the configuration with the bank account you actually want to be paid into, because the others stop being used.
2 You have no existing Everflow Pay configuration You go straight into the setup form described below. Nothing is migrated, because there is nothing to migrate.

Filling In Your Configuration

The form behind the Start button is three screens: General, Banking, then Review and T&C. A red asterisk means the field is mandatory, and the form says so at the top of each screen.

General: Who You Are

First, pick your Structure. Sole Proprietorship (individual) asks for a Beneficiary First Name and Beneficiary Last Name. Corporation (company, organization, or entity) asks for a single Business Name instead. Either way, use the name exactly as it appears on the bank account, because a mismatch is the most common reason a transfer comes back.

Under Point of Contact for Payments, add an Email and Phone Number. Everflow uses that email for all payment and banking information associated with Everflow Pay, so choose an address someone reads.

No tax ID is asked for here

The Marketplace version of this screen collects your name and your contact details and nothing else. There is no business address block and no tax ID field, which is a real difference from the same form in the Partner Platform. Tax is handled entirely by the separate stage on the configuration card.

Banking: Where the Money Goes

The Banking screen opens with a single field, Bank Country, and stays empty until you choose one. The rest of the form is built from your answer, because every country's banking system needs different numbers.

Canada

Canada is the only country where you choose your bank from a dropdown rather than typing its name. You will be asked for Bank Name, Bank Account Currency, Bank Account Number, SWIFT/BIC, Transit Code and Bank Institution Number. All six are mandatory. Selecting Canada also raises a Heads Up! banner with a Learn More link.

United States

You will be asked for your routing number, account type and account number. Payments to US accounts go out as a next-day ACH transfer.

Everywhere else

You will be asked for a SWIFT/BIC, your Bank Account Number and your Bank Account Currency, plus any additional codes your country requires. Your bank publishes all of them.

What a cross-border payment costs you If you are paid in US dollars into a bank outside the US, a flat fee applies: $29 under $10,000 and $40 at $10,000 or more. If you are paid in your own currency there is no flat transaction fee; the conversion cost sits in the exchange rate. International payments have a $50 minimum.

Review and T&C

The last screen reads your answers back to you and puts an Attention notice above the banking block asking you to check your account number. Do check it. A wrong digit delays a payment rather than failing it visibly. Tick the box under Legal to accept the terms and conditions, then Submit.

Your first stage turns green and expands into a Key information summary: your point of contact, banking country, bank name, currency, and your account and institution numbers partly masked with an eye icon to reveal them. An Edit button sits underneath it.

The U.S. Tax Information Stage

The middle stage on the configuration card is labelled U.S. Tax Information and reads "Submit your U.S. tax information by completing the applicable tax form." It stays there, with a Select Tax Form button, until you complete it.

The label surprises people, so it is worth being plain about it. The wording describes the form being collected, not where you are. The stage still reads "U.S. Tax Information" when your saved banking country is Canada, or anywhere else. It is asking for the US tax form that a US-based payer has to hold on file for you, and the form you pick is the one that matches your own status.

Which Form to Pick

Form Who files it W-9 US citizens, resident aliens and US-registered businesses, including US citizens living abroad. W-8BEN Individuals who are not US persons. W-8BEN-E Businesses and entities registered outside the US.

A W-8 is the routine case for anyone outside the US, not a special one. Everflow's tax provider renders the form, so it opens outside the Everflow Pay screens and returns you to the configuration card when it is done.

Once You Are Set Up

When every stage on the card is green, the third one reads Ready To Receive Payments and Advertisers on Everflow Pay can pay your invoices. There is no test deposit and no penny transfer anywhere in this flow.

Your Everflow Pay Details Now Live Here Only

This is the change that catches people out. Once your Marketplace configuration is active, you can no longer edit your Everflow Pay banking details from inside an individual Advertiser's Partner Platform. Every future change, a new bank, a new address, a new contact, is made here through Edit. Details for other payment methods are unaffected and stay where they always were.

If You Are Not Payable Yet

Work down the card first: any stage that is not green is telling you what it still needs. Two causes sit outside the card.

Your payment method with an Advertiser is still set to Wire

Wire is no longer available as a payment type for partners. If a connection still has Wire selected, it has to be switched to Everflow Pay before anything can be paid, and nothing in this form does that for you.

A newly created payee record can sit in a short holding window

Some payers apply a brief waiting period to new payee records before payment is allowed. It clears by itself.

Anything else, write to pay.help@everflow.io with your company name and the country your bank is in.
