Tracking & Asset Generator
A tool that allows you to create tracking links or get creatives and coupon codes to direct people to specific pages within an Advertiser's website (like a specific product page) rather than just their homepage. Plus, it allows you to get an Attribution for driving clients to the Advertiser's website.
Traffic Quality
How valuable your referred visitors are to Advertisers. High-quality traffic consists of genuine potential customers who are likely to convert. Low-quality traffic might be flagged as fraudulent and result in Commission reversals or rejections. Also, pay attention to other defined rules and requirements for Offer, including country from where the traffic is coming from. Some Advertisers set specific criteria.
Affiliate Manager
Your main contact person who helps you find suitable Offers, answers questions, and provides support (From the Advertiser side). They work for either the Advertiser directly or for an Agency managing the affiliate program.
Offer Restrictions / Rulesets
Rules about how you can and cannot promote Offers. These might include prohibited traffic sources, required disclosures, or any other restrictions.
Creatives / Promotional Materials
Banners, text links, product images, videos, and other branded marketing assets provided by Advertisers to help you promote their Offers effectively.
Partner
You (probably)! As a Partner (also called Affiliate, Influencer, or Publisher), you promote Offers from Advertisers and earn commissions when you drive successful actions (Conversions) like sales or sign-ups. You use tracking links to ensure you get credit for the traffic you send.
Payment Terms
When and how you'll receive your commission payments. For example, Net-30 means you'll be paid 30 days after the end of the month when Conversions occurred. Most Advertisers generate and pay invoices monthly or bi-weekly.
Commission Structure
How you get paid for driving conversions. This could be fixed amounts per action (CPA), percentage of sales (Revenue Share), payment per click (CPC), or other models depending on the Offer.
Conversion
When someone you referred completes the desired action, such as making a purchase, signing up for a service, or installing an app. This is what triggers your commission payment. Keep in mind that different Offers have varied commissions, depending on what the Advertiser you work with defined in settings. For example, some Offers may pay for Clicks, while others for Conversions.
Approval Status
Whether an Advertiser has manually approved your application to promote their Offer. Some Offers require approval before you can access tracking links or you must agree to certain Terms & Conditions, while others are open to all Partners immediately.
Tracking Link
The special URL you use when promoting Offers. It contains unique parameters and macros that ensure you get proper credit when someone clicks, generates and impression (view), and eventually makes a purchase or completes another desired action defined by the Advertiser.
Profit
For Partners, it's the money you keep after subtracting any expenses from your affiliate commissions. For example, if you earn $1000 in commissions but spent $300 on ads to promote the Offers, your profit would be $700.
Marketplace Platform
The interface Publishers use to browse available Offers from multiple Advertisers within the Everflow Marketplace. You can join this platform for free to find Offers to promote, even if you're not using the full Everflow Core Platform. However, keep in mind that our Marketplace is highly curated and our team makes the final decisions when it comes to Publishers who join our selection.
Advertiser Platform
A special interface where Advertisers can view performance data about their Offers without accessing the full Everflow system. If you work with an agency that uses Everflow, you might get access to this platform to track how your Offers are performing (of course, if you're a Brand / Advertiser).
Agency Platform
The interface used by marketing agencies who manage affiliate programs on behalf of Advertisers. Agencies use this dashboard to create Offers, recruit Partners, and track performance for their Advertiser clients.
The Everflow Marketplace
A centralized platform where you can discover and apply to multiple affiliate programs in one place. Marketplaces make it easier to find new Offers to promote without having to apply to each program separately. Great for Publishers, Coupon Code websites, and others.
Partner Platform
The dashboard Partners log into to access Offers, get tracking links, view their performance stats, and manage their affiliate accounts. This is their main workspace for participating in affiliate programs.
Revenue
From the perspective of a Partner, Revenue is the commission you earn from successful Conversions you generate. This is also called your Payout or earnings.
Advertiser
The company that owns the products or services you're promoting. They create Offers, set commission rates (we call them Payout from their side), and pay you when you drive successful Conversions. For example, if you promote Nike shoes, Nike is the Advertiser.
Attribution
Partner Attribution refers to the process of correctly assigning credit to the Affiliates, Publishers, Influencers, etc. who drove specific Conversion (purchase, app install, sign-up, etc.). Advertisers decide how to set up Attribution. For example, some might attribute the Conversion to the first Partner who introduced a customer to the Offer (product, campaign, etc.), while other pay those who drove the final touch-point until the Conversion. There are some who have mixed models, yet Everflow currently does not fully support multi-touch Attribution.
Payout
The commission you receive for generating successful conversions. This might be a flat fee (like $10 per sale), percentage of sale value (like 20% of purchase amount), or other payment model depending on the offer.
