Table of Contents

Overview

This article will walk you through managing primary domains at the Global level, as well as your options for assigning specific domains to certain Offers or Partners. There are two types of domains:

Tracking Domain - The domain used in the partner tracking link to track the clicks coming to your Offers.

Conversion Domain - The domain used in the conversion postback/pixel used by your Advertiser to fire conversions into Everflow.

Domain Management

  • Navigate to Control Center - Platform Configurations > Domain to see the tracking and conversion domains in your account, and their statuses.

How To Add/Remove Domains

To add or remove a tracking or conversion domain from your account, please reach out to the Customer Success Team in-platform via Chat or by emailing support@everflow.io.

  • Please allow up to 48 hours for the request to be completed. It typically takes 24 hours or less.

  • If applicable, additional tracking domains are priced at $40 per domain/per month.

What is a Primary Tracking Domain?

The Primary Tracking Domain is the default domain used in your Partner Tracking Links.

What is a Primary Conversion Domain?

The default domain used in your conversion and event postbacks/pixels, as shown in your global postback URL.

Please note: When a new Primary Conversion Domain is selected, it will be automatically applied to new Offers only. To update the Conversion Domain for existing Offers, you must edit them individually or using the Bulk Edit tool.

Assigning Tracking Domains at the Offer Level

You can set an Offer up with a specific tracking domain that's different from your Primary Tracking Domain.

Step 1

  • Navigate to Offers - Manage > click on the name of the Offer > Edit > Tracking & Controls.

Step 2

  • Select the domain in the Specific Tracking Domain dropdown. Save.

Please Note: Selecting a 'Specific Tracking Domain' here does not block traffic from tracking links with other active domains; it is simply configuring Partner Tracking Links for the Offer with the specified domain, as shown in the example below:

Pro Tip - For Offers tracking via HTML pixels, it is good practice to match the tracking and conversion domains. For other conversion methods, the tracking and conversion domains do not need to match.

Assigning Tracking Domains at the Partner Level

You can set a Partner up with a specific domain, either for certain Offers or for all Offers that Partner runs. If domains are setup under both cards, the Offer / Tracking Domain setup for an offer/partner combination will have the priority and will be applied before the Global Tracking Domain setup for all offers.

Step 1

Navigate to Partners - Manage > Click on name of the Partner > Tracking Domains.

Global Tracking Domain

If you would like to set a domain for use with all offers, click + Add on the Partners Specific Tracking Domain card.

To edit or delete this setting later, click Edit or vertical dots button.

Offer/Tracking Domain

If you would like to set a domain for use with specific offers, click Offer/Tracking Domain > Add. Use the checkbox feature, or use the vertical dots at the end of any row to Edit or Delete.

Please Note: Selecting a specific domain here does not block traffic from tracking links with other active domains; it is simply configuring Partner Tracking Links for the Offer with the specified domain, as shown in the example below:

Reporting

  • To see stats have been generated on each tracking domain, navigate to Analytics - Flex, and select Tracking Domain as a column. You may also filter by Tracking Domain if you wish.

  • Or, navigate to Analytics - Dynamic Nested, and select "Tracking Domain" as Parent or Child. You may also filter by Tracking Domain if you wish.
